Batch Adsorption Experiment: Parameter Optimization

Serial dilutions were performed to create a set of 16 standard solutions for the calibration curve to plot a calibration curve. A plot of concentration (x-axis) versus absorbance (y-axis) was generated, and linear regression analysis was performed in Microsoft Excel to evaluate the curve’s linearity. The coefficient of determination (R²) was used to assess the fit, with values closer to 1 indicating a higher degree of linearity.

Optimization of ZIF-8 dosages

The solutions were agitated in a shaking water bath. Various parameters were tested to optimize the magnetic ZIF-8 adsorbent for tetracycline removal.

Absorbance values of each sample were measured using UV-visible spectrophotometry.
