Visit VIB (Vlaams Instituut voor Biotechnologie)
As part of the “Research-to-Business Case Studies” course, I went on a field trip to a VIB (Flemish Institute for Biotechnology).
Founded in 1996, VIB operates across 5 universities, employing 1,800 researchers and staff from 77 nationalities. Its 10 research centers and 93 research groups are focused on unlocking the molecular mechanisms of life.
Expertise in diverse fields like Plant Systems Biology, Inflammation, Cancer Biology, Molecular Neurology, and AI & Computational Biology
