Catching Up with Italian Professor in Belgium
In the spring of 2023, a pilot course on ‘Intercultural Communication’ was introduced at UGent Korea to gather student feedback before making it a regular course. I enrolled in this course because I wanted to learn about various cultures and communication methods before going to Belgium. A few months later, I went to Belgium for the Belgian semester, and the professor invited me and the other students to her place.
It was wonderful to see everyone in Belgium and catch up on how we had been. We talked about our future career paths after graduation and received valuable advice. Since the professor is Italian, she invited us to an Italian restaurant in Ghent, where she treated us to wine and a variety of Italian dishes. The food was delicious, and it was a memorable experience.😍
